Hope Family Church has officially moved into the old St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, built in 1858. It is the first church built in Marion, Ohio.
We couldn’t be more excited for what God has in store! The potential is huge in this building, with multiple classrooms, storage rooms, and a large fellowship hall/kitchen which we are having our services in until we clean and paint the sanctuary.
It was a joy to watch my preschoolers explore their new classroom, which has twice as much space than their room before. We had reached our max at the other building, and now we can dream bigger!
I love history. This place is full of it, from President Harding sleeping in the belfry to the front red doors, symbolizing a place of safety during the plague. God wants dry bones to live again, He wants Marion to rise up out of the hopelessness that has held it down for so long, and truly be set free.
He wants those who submit to Him, those whose love is genuine. This building isn’t for our benefit, but for the benefit of the lost. God WILL move here! And someday, even these walls will be maxed out full of people, full of family.
Please continue to pray for us as we adjust to this new chapter. That we would remain focused on the vision and know what steps to take next. Thank you and God bless!!
That is cool! God bless you all!
